NOZOHEAM

Nozohaem® is a unique gel intended to stop nosebleeds rapidly. It is safe, simple and quick to self-administer.

How Nozohaem® Works
Nozohaem is a gel that promotes constriction of the bleeding vessels in the nasal mucosa by exerting a gentle pressure once administered. The physical constriction will promote the natural coagulation response.

Directions for use

  • Gently blow your nose gently to remove any blood.
  • Remove the cap at the tip of the tube.
  • Insert the tip of the tube inside the bleeding nostril about 1 – 1,5 cm, and gently squeeze the tube to release the gel into your nose.
  • At the same time hold the thumb and index finger of your other hand over the wing of your nose to fix the tip of the nozzle in place.
  • If the nosebleed is located at the front (anterior) of your nose, one tube is sufficient. If the nosebleed is located further back (posterior) in your nose, two tubes, or in exceptional cases three tubes, may be needed.
  • The gel should be left in your nose for at least 30 minutes.
  • You can wipe away any gel that runs onto your upper lip with a tissue.
  • The gel will gradually drain from the nose, guided by the cilia hair, or can be gently be blown out into a tissue after a while if it becomes uncomfortable.
  • If the bleeding has not stopped within 30 minutes, you should consult a healthcare professional.
